Craig Alexander Shaves Seconds with Shimano and PRO
IRVINE, Calif (April 28, 2009) – Professional triathlete sensation, Craig “Crowie” Alexander has long been winning on Shimano drive trains and with his new sponsorship that tradition can continue with the addition of a few other choice performance parts from the Shimano and PRO wheel, shoe, and accessory product lines.

Riding on the latest Shimano Dura-Ace 7900 and Shimano Dura-Ace deep section carbon wheels, Crowie has already had two overall victories and one second place finish for 2009. Alexander will also be competing on the new Shimano Dura-Ace 7970 Di2 electronic drive-train. A huge benefit of the electronic is switches integrated into the PRO Missile carbon fiber handlebars with shift positions in both the climbing and aero positions. Alexander’s thoughtful response after his first test ride on the new electronic drive train: “Amazing…”

Alexander is also riding the Shimano SH-TR70 shoes featuring Custom-Fit shoe technology, now adapted for triathletes. Heat and vacuum-molded to each individual foot, Custom Fit shoes provide an exact fit to help combat fatigue that robs endurance athletes of valuable resources. The full carbon fiber sole, reversed strap closure, and lightweight construction ensure maximum efficiency, quick transitions, and fast drying once on the bike.

Keep an eye on Crowie as he continues to rack up the victories with the most advanced and reliable parts for your bike: Shimano and PRO.
