Shimano Presents the 2010 Southridge Winter Series
IRVINE, Calif (Jan 8, 2010) – Shimano joins Southridge USA as presenting sponsor of the 2010 Southridge Winter Series. Continuing a tradition of past collaboration on what has become a mainstay series of Southern California competitive mountain biking, the Southridge Winter Series presented by Shimano will begin in Fontana, California on Jan 9-10.

Shimano has a long history of sponsoring top events and supporting enthusiasts in their competitive cycling endeavors across the nation. In addition to providing Shimano’s renowned Multi-Service Neutral Technical Support to all competitors, Shimano will also be offering an entry reimbursement contingency program for top placed junior riders using Shimano Disc Brake systems.

The series will feature all disciplines of mountain bike racing: Cross Country, Downhill, Super-D and 4 Cross. Shimano will also be the title sponsor of the Shimano Youth Series with free participation for kids up to age 10. Future series dates are: Jan 23-24, Feb 6-7, Feb 20-21, and March 6-7, 2010.
