Victory for Shimano athletes @ WC Fort William
Shimano sponsored riders had a lot of success at the second leg of the UCI Downhill and 4X Mountain Bike World Cup in Fort William,
Scotland, this weekend.

Gee Atherton (Team Commencal) thrilled the home crowd to take the win at the Downhill race. Gee is riding a full SHIMANO SAINT component group
and of course uses the PRO Atherton Star Series handlebar, stem, seat post, grips and saddle. Second was Cameron Cole (Team Maxxis-Rocky Mountain)
of New Zealand, also riding a full SHIMANO SAINT group. The first five teams in the World Cup ranking are all riding SHIMANO SAINT components
(Scott 11, Commencal, Chain Reaction Cycles/Intense, Maxxis-Rocky Mountain, Trek World Racing).

At the Downhill race for women, the first four positions were taken by Shimano (SAINT) sponsored athletes. Sabrina Jonnier (Maxxis-Rocky Mountain)
was the winner, beating Rachel Atherton (Commencal), Floriane Pugin (Scott 11) and Tracy Moseley (Trek World Racing). Scott 11 and Commencal are
leading the team World Cup rankings with equal points.

Shimano sponsored rider Jared Graves (Yeti Fox Shox Factory Race Team) won the 4X race for men.
